International Design Competition

PROGRAM:
    Monument in memory of fallen Staten-islanders.

CONCEPT:
   Proposed black granite memorial wall with engraved names of those lost in the tragedy. 267 square voids at the left side of each individuals' name to allow placement of flowers and candles. 150 feet long stainless steel arcs spanning from the grass. 20 feet high glaring clear glass sculptures in a center of composition, to create effect of the towers' mirage under the rainbow when positioned over the Manhattan skyline.
